The Consumers Union of Catalonia \u2013 UCC is a private and progressive association<\/strong> <\/span>who was born more than 35 years ago, <\/span>to defend the rights of consumers<\/strong>. Since its creation, the Consumers’ Union of Catalonia – UCC has been concerned with providing assistance in everything that may affect the daily lives of consumers. <\/p>\n

On the other hand, it also <\/span>offers specialized consumer services to its members<\/strong>, ensures the <\/span>defense of consumers<\/strong> through different events (magazine, interventions in the media, talks to different groups, etc.) <\/span>and denounces all those situations in which consumers may be harmed<\/strong>, seeing their rights protected by the Consumer Code of Catalonia, and other state and European regulations in the field of consumption, violated.<\/p>\n

The team of the Consumers’ Union of Catalonia – UCC is made up of the following departmental structure: coordination department, administration department, and technical-legal department.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

He <\/span>coordination department<\/strong> <\/span>\u00e9s l\u2019encarregat de l\u2019organitzaci\u00f3 de l\u2019associaci\u00f3, concretant les tasques a realitzar pels components de la resta de departaments. Tamb\u00e9 assisteix a actes protocol\u00b7laris i institucionals, a m\u00e9s de donar suport a altres tasques. <\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The <\/span>administration department<\/strong> <\/span>manages all accounting and labor matters, both internal and external, regarding expenses and income.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The star department is the <\/span>technical-legal<\/strong>, since it is the one who fulfills the function of advising on the consultations made by consumers. It is made up of consumer technicians and lawyers specialized in consumption. <\/p>\n

The Consumers’ Union of Catalonia-UCC has created a Quality Seal so that companies, of products and services, can display it as long as they comply with a decalogue of good practices related to consumption.<\/p>\n

This proposal arises with the aim <\/span>d\u2019incentivar els comer\u00e7os i empreses<\/strong> <\/span>to comply with consumer regulations. In addition, this way their effort in complying with the law will be recognized. <\/p>\n

Thus, the Consumers’ Union of Catalonia-UCC continues to work to defend the rights and duties of consumers so that they can buy products and enjoy services with the <\/span>greatest guarantees and total peace of mind.<\/strong><\/p>\n
