Prevent vehicle-related conflicts

Vehicles can be a major source of conflict for consumers, whether due to repairs to the vehicle itself or due to insurance-related issues. When a vehicle needs repair, consumers can often find themselves facing difficulties related to unexpected costs, broken warranties, or services that do not meet expectations. Similarly, vehicle insurance can generate conflict in cases of denial of coverage, inaccurate payments, or problems with policy conditions.

Accidents

Having a car or motorcycle accident can lead to problems beyond the injuries we may suffer and sometimes insurance companies do not cover the repairs or put a price tag on them in order not to satisfactorily cover the damage to the car. From the Consumers’ Union of Catalonia we can claim from the insurance company, offering the possibility of having our own expert opinion in order to be more forceful against the insurance companies in order to obtain the return of the vehicle or the possible repairs that may be covered by the insurer.

Repairs

Our vehicle will sooner or later have to go through a workshop to make repairs, whether routine or unexpected. These repairs can be very opaque for consumers and generate problems that cause dissatisfaction with the service. We must take into account that we also have rights in these situations and that they can generate compensation or new free repairs if the initial repair has not been done well.

Sale/rental

We can also help you in all those cases in which your purchase or rental of a vehicle is not satisfactory. Sometimes the vehicle is not delivered in the agreed conditions or they do not want to make the warranty effective for any reason. You should keep in mind that the warranty for new vehicles purchased from 2022 is 3 years but also for second-hand vehicles which will be 12 months.
